The 8th Burgas International Film Festival will present some of the latest and most intriguing titles from contemporary European cinema. Interesting highlight in this year’s program is the international selection of animated films, specially selected for the Burgas film forum by the world-renowned animator and director Theodore Ushev. The selection, which will be presented during the event from July 15th to 21st, includes eight short animated titles from the past two years, acclaimed with awards from various prestigious festivals, including Oscar nominated titles.
The animation selection will be introduced by Theodore Ushev himself. During the festival audiences will have the opportunity to watch the documentary film ‘‘Theodore Ushev: Unseen Connections“, directed by Borislav Kolev and dedicated to the bulgarian visual artist.
